Resources & Peer Support
Hiraeth Hope & Healing offers curated resources, ongoing peer support, and community-based spaces for individuals seeking connection, understanding, and shared experience beyond formal events.
These offerings are designed to be accessible, relational, and grounded in mutual respect. Resources may include peer support spaces, online communities, educational materials, podcasts, websites, and other community-based connections shared for reflection, learning, and support.
Participation is always optional, and individuals are welcome to engage at their own pace.
Navigating Unexpected Discoveries
Many individuals arrive while navigating unexpected DNA results, NPE (“Not Parent Expected”) discoveries, donor conception, late discovery experiences, biological family searches, family separation, hidden truths, or questions related to identity, ancestry, and belonging uncovered through DNA testing and genetic genealogy research.
These spaces may offer opportunities for reflection, shared understanding, peer connection, and community-based support while navigating these experiences.
Individuals seeking guidance related to DNA results, genetic genealogy, or biological family discovery are also welcome to explore our Hiraeth Hope & Healing Helpers support offerings.
What These Spaces Offer
Peer support spaces are community-based and relationship-centered.
They are not therapy and are not intended to replace professional support.
Instead, they offer a place for presence, conversation, and connection with others who understand the value of being heard without pressure to explain or resolve.
Community guidelines emphasize respect, boundaries, and care for one another.
Moderation helps ensure that these spaces remain supportive and welcoming.
Online Peer Support
Hiraeth Hope & Healing also offers ongoing online peer support spaces designed for continued connection and shared presence between gatherings.
These spaces may include Zoom gatherings, moderated online communities, and other opportunities for peer-based connection.
