Types of Events & Gatherings
Our 5-day retreats offer extended time for connection, reflection, and community.
All facilitated sessions take place within the homes where we stay, creating an immersive, shared environment that balances guided experiences with rest, creative integration, and informal time.
Shorter, flexible gatherings designed to support ease, grounding, and connection.
Facilitated sessions take place in a dedicated offsite space selected for reflective and expressive work, while overnight stays are hotel-based.
These weekends balance guided reflection with optional social time.
Virtual, Zoom-based support spaces for individuals seeking connection from wherever they are.
These gatherings offer an accessible way to engage in community without the need for travel or in-person attendance.
Participation is always optional.
Individuals are welcome to listen quietly, participate briefly, or step away as needed.
Free, therapist-led monthly educational conversations exploring topics related to identity, family relationships, trauma, discovery, grief, boundaries, and other experiences relevant to the HH&H community.
These virtual gatherings combine education, practical insight, and thoughtful conversation. They are educational spaces, not therapy or treatment, and participation is always optional.
Facilitated educational and experiential opportunities exploring topics related to identity, relationships, family, lived experience, and personal reflection.
Formats and topics vary throughout the year, with opportunities offered both virtually and in connection with other HH&H programming.
A welcoming virtual space where community members read and discuss books that explore themes related to adoption, donor conception, unexpected DNA discoveries, late discovery experiences, identity, family, and origin loss.
Selections include memoirs, fiction, and nonfiction that invite reflection, encourage meaningful conversation, and help members feel less alone in their experiences.
Book Club meets online and is intentionally paced to allow time for reading, processing, and discussion.
Informal opportunities to connect with others in community.
These gatherings are lighter in structure and centered on presence rather than facilitation.
Shared viewings followed by optional conversation and reflection.
These gatherings offer an opportunity to explore stories and themes together in a thoughtfully held environment.
